For a bike commuter from the west into Boston, the Charles River paths are a great way to get into Boston or Cambridge on a car-free path. However there are three unsafe intersections along the way: North Beacon Street, Arsenal Street, and River Street.

We can change that to two unsafe crossings. If you look closely at the picture you can see a functioning walk signal at the Arsenal Street intersection.

The curb cuts and ramps have been in place for months and the new light fixtures went in a few weeks ago. Now the walk signal is functioning.

This had been a dangerous intersection for biker, runners, walkers and strollers along the Charles River paths.
