The Town of Lincoln will install a ghost bike at the town’s Public Safety Building. Lincoln’s Cycling Safety Advisory Committee had proposed the installation. The family of Eugene Thornberg will give the town a ghost bike to be installed outside the town’s Public Safety Building. Eugene Thornberg was fatally struck by a vehicle on Route 126 in June 2016.
A temporary ghost bike was put in place in September 2016 for a service near the site of the accident. The Lincoln Police declared that it would be unsafe to stay permanently because of traffic concerns.
